Almost near...
27 days to go and I will be on Davao attending the workshop Our Earth, Our Home for the 17th International Leadership Conference. I'm looking forward for new ideas and knowledge to be gain from the speaker. Pens, notebook, marker and candies..checked! ^_^ Now I'm ready to take down notes and do some pointers afterwards. Great! All this will be my helping tools to survive as I formulate example policies on how to improve and develop our resources. Just preparing for another wonderful dream to be granted and blessed by our Heavenly Father, the one and only one gave all the wonderful gifts to us. Connections are all over the world. Let's extend our helping hands to save the Earth for it is our Home. Forty eight more days and I'm turning 27. I am thankful for I continually enjoying the people and every things that surrounds me. I hope for the coming days...27 days to go to Davao to enjoy my learning by exploring; 48 day, April 8, 2010 to go and I'm turning 27 years old and looking forward to do something memorable stay here on earth as I will share my time, knowledge and skills as I will do my assignment in promoting peace and development with United Nations Volunteers.

DREAM COME TRUE…best had written words in the jeepney that catches my attention yesterday as we involved ourselves in GK Build Ateneo activities. I know that building houses for the homeless are not easy. Planning preparations may take all your time and strength but looking forward for the outcome may brings an overflow of gratitude in the heart of anyone whose involve in building hope for the homeless to have a wonderful home. GK Build is really indeed a dream come true for me for a reason that I found another additional home sweet home that welcomes me whole heartedly as well as to GK team/Family namely Kuya Aaron, Alvin and Glory. The GK team volunteers have a big impact as they being “IN” to my life journey. I am also thankful to other volunteers and to the whole community as they also imparted their treasures, talents and time to us.

Being a volunteer or involving yourself in volunteering provides many benefits to mental, physical, social and spiritual health. Volunteering can provide a healthy boots to your self-confidence, self-esteem and life satisfaction. Doing good things for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment and most likely to have a positive view of your life and future goals.

What’s your passion?
Volunteers make a difference every day…and when people get together, things get done. Volunteering takes many forms and is performed by a wide range of people. Medical mission challenges give Doctors, Nurses, Physical therapist, Programmers, Armies, and other Health Care Workers the opportunity to help people in the way they dreamed of it. Being one of the volunteers is truly a remarkable one for another dream come true as I prayed for it. Best opportunity for me to serve and make a lasting difference by joining a medical mission at GK Towerville, Bulacan. Volunteering also allows you to meet people who have similar interest. You may make new friends of the same age or of different ages. Being a volunteer is a great way to learn new skills from working as part of a team to setting and reaching goals as it gives you a chance to discover what kinds of things you’re best at and enjoy the most, indeed.

A quick sharing that made me cry inside…
As I offer my open hand to the young little girl (patient), right away she placed her hand to my hand gently. While laughing for the great joy that moment…I know that the little girl sent me a beautiful message. “There are three things that will endure--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love.” - 1 Corinthians 13.

53 days to go...its Christmas time o^_^o. Our Father in heaven, you know that I’m so grateful for all the blessings you have given me and for sure many to come. As you always surprised me in many ways…I hope that in my simple ways I put a smile in your face. Lord, thank you for trusting me with the wonderful gifts. Wonderful gifts as you anointed me to be where I am today. The grateful gifts that I have are my family. I love my family. I am blessed to have them because they guide me and cheer me all the way in achieving my dreams. As they allow me to do my selfless service to others knowing that I don’t have enough rest…they PUSH me more for I don’t feel any drained of strength and energy at all. Rendering services embrace with a big hope. Being belong with the GKal teams help me to dream more for others. As you can probably tell, I am pretty excited to be working with Gawad Kalinga and unfortunately it is not all for selfless reasons because I strongly believe the GK lives love in action – live this love in such a selfless so holistically to such a great extend. In addition, receiving messages that I will take the lead (Lead Nurse) for TP MOA Clinic site may help me more to share the wonderful gifts that our dear Lord entrusted to me.

I’m searching…and then I found myself crying

I was afraid, for I don’t know what to do
I know that the time was moving fast except me
I felt that I am trap…trap in the world of realization
It’s a magical world…full of mercy, forgiveness and love
I saw myself in a distance…
…different from who I am now.
It’s like a movie playing back forward
And OH, what a great movie
…as I remembered all my prayers
Now, I’m back in the world of reality
I feel more love and peace in my heart
Thank you for that wonderful magic
…A magic touch from our Heavenly Father who heal me
